Bradford Business Centre attracts new owners

The Bradford office of Chartered Surveyors, Walker Singleton, have concluded the sale of the long established Holroyd Business Centre in Bradford acting on behalf of Hansteen. The site comprised of 9 industrial units and 14 office suites totaling over 39,000 sq.ft. being majority let and producing approx. £120,000 per annum.
The property was marketed and sold off an asking price of £1,000,000 with a sale agreed within 6 weeks of marketing commencing. The new owners of the property are local investors expanding their portfolio in the region.
Jonathan O’Connor, Director at Walker Singleton comments, “We had strong levels of interest in the site and within a short space of time had a significant number of offers”, he adds “There is strong demand for investments of this nature in the current market and we were pleased to achieve a result above expectations within such a short timeframe.” Adam Morgan of Hansteen added, “Having acquired the property in August 2013 we have increased occupation by 10.45%. In line with our strategy we will be deploying the proceeds in new opportunities. We were very impressed with Walker Singletons proactive approach from start to finish”
