Walker Singleton is looking for a valuation surveyor in Leeds to join our expanding team in servicing existing property valuation work and generating new business leads.

Our valuation surveyor will provide a full range of valuation surveying services for commercial and residential property types together with land for a range of purposes to include, but not limited to, secured lending, taxation, pension funds and accounting.

You’ll be tasked with valuing commercial and residential properties to include properties within the alternatives sector, and valuation of land to include the provision of development appraisals where applicable.

As a valuation surveyor, you’ll prepare detailed valuation reports for purposes such as secured lending, taxation, pension funds and accounting. You’ll also provide professional support including APC guidance to more junior team members.

A suitable candidate for this valuation surveyor in Leeds role will be proficient in using Microsoft’s suite of programmes, including Word and Excel, and have good written and communication skills. You’ll also have good local geographical and market knowledge and familiarity with the planning systems.

We’re seeking a highly motivated team player who has a productive attitude and is both confident and personable. You’ll need to be able to achieve and maintain a high level of customer service and promote exceptional customer care standards at all times.

To be considered for this position, being MRICS/FRICS qualified and having a RICS Registered Valuer status is essential. You’ll also require a full UK driving licence.
